Maybe it is just me, but the holidays seem to arrive faster and faster every year. It feels like summer just ended. Suddenly I am in the swirl of parties, holiday travel, cookie exchanges, and of course, holiday shopping. Fortunately, my family has partially instituted a “consumables” rule for gift exchanges, focusing on gifts that are, well, consumed.
